Isaiah 43:18-19  Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.   Behold, I will do a new thing; NOW it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. 

This year embrace the new that has already been done in you.  2 Corinthians 5:17 states:  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.   Let us not continue remembering the things we used to do that didn’t line up with who we are in Christ but look to God to do a new thing in this new year.  Yes it shall spring forth and you will know it.  New people, new places, new things!  It’s time to surround yourself with the right people, those that want to see you do well, prosper and do well with you.  Leave the people in the past that want you to stay the way you used to be and do the things you used to do.  Let them go so you can grow!  Let God transition you in this new year so you can become the best version of who you really are.  Stop looking back but look up for God’s directions, instructions and guidance.  God has already said “I will do a new thing” but he also says “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way you should go: I will guide you with mine eye. Psalms 32:8  Trust him and begin to confess your “I will” to God.  What will you do to “embrace the new”?   The meaning of embrace is “an act of accepting or supporting something willingly or enthusiastically”.  Accept what God has already done and live your best life NOW!
